Can I add solar panels to my townhouse?

Haven't found your forever home yet but want to start utilizing solar panels in your living space?

Let us say you live in a condominium or you live in an HOA (Homeowner's Association). If you live in a HOA or a condo – which are separate but similar- It's going to require permission from the HOA of either one of those to get solar on your townhouse.

So, is it impossible? No. Are there a couple extra steps? Yes.

And every neighborhood or condo development is specific. So, when you start to consider going solar and see how much it will save you; make sure you reach out to your HOA and see that panels are available.

Obviously, if you see them in your neighborhood, you can assume they are okay. But we would recommend that you check!

What are your next steps?

If you have questions, or want us to look at the numbers more specifically, reach out to us! We are always happy to pull up your neighborhood, or your HOA and give you the guidance on if it is eligible or not eligible.
